                       was published in the October 2004 issue of Agricultural Research magazine.

Scientists in the ARS Beneficial
Insects Research Unit at Weslaco,
Texas, have found that a strain
of the fungus Metarhizium anisopliae
is deadly to Varroa mites, .........
The scientific team is now fine-tuning the strategy for transfer to producers.
