I am looking for the studies that discusses why it is not advisable to mix human milk with other substitutes. I have read "The Effect of Nutritional Additives on Anti-Infective Factors in Human Milk." I have heard of a study discussing on the effect of mixing on the stomach, which I'm unable to locate. I am also frequently asked about mixing cow milk and human milk when introducing cow milk around a year. Does that follow the same logic or have other studies been done on this? I am asking because I am frequently asked why you don't want to mix formula and human milk and if it is okay to mix cow milk and human milk. Thanks any help, April ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
