Hello I am in search of some 'ammunition' and some information. I am working with a mom who is currently breastfeeding her 14 month old. When the babe was 5 months old, he totally rejected the left breast. Despite different approaches/tactics, the baby never accepted it again and after 4 months of pumping it to maintain the supply-mom stopped and let the milk supply deplete. During her research to find a 'reason' for him to reject this breast, she came across the info on the possibility of it being due to a tumor. She asked her Dr for a mammogram to rule this out (no palpable lumps/dimpling etc) but the hospital is not willing to do the test since there are no 'signs' of lumps/tumors. What I am hoping is that someone knows of a specific article published about this so we can help convince them to complete the test. Any help you can provide would be appreciated! Thanks in advance, Donna *********************************************** Archives: http://community.lsoft.com/archives/LACTNET.html To reach list owners: [log in to unmask] Mail all list management commands to: [log in to unmask] COMMANDS: 1.
