Hi All I work as a hospital LC and I am continually finding that mothers who are separated from their babies are not being given the opportunity of early hand expressing, the woman I saw yesterday was 24 hrs postpartum and hadn't been given this information. Where can I get research articles that will back up my arguments that even hand expressing at least 6 hrly after birth is an effective and supportive way to help these women establish a good lactation. Thank you for your wisdom Sincerely June Nicholls IBCLC New Zealand *********************************************** Archives: http://community.lsoft.com/archives/LACTNET.html To reach list owners: [log in to unmask] Mail all list management commands to: [log in to unmask] COMMANDS: 1.
