Pat, the only thing I would add to the responses you've already received is to have your daughter change to a hospital grade pump (Lact-E, Classic, or Symphony) and to check her flange size. I would recommend she pump every 2-3 hours in the daytime with one 4-5 hr. break at night.? Also, encourage her to pump at the baby's bedside if possible--this helps keep her on her schedule.? Skin-skin also is very helpful.? Reassure her she is doing a great job and help her get some rest.? And don't have her stress too much over supply if she is doing all she can.? You could consider Fenugreek as well. And many mothers especially if they've been on Mg are a little slower to establish a full supply.? The most effective thing you might do, however, is to have her use a hospital grade pump.

So, I guess I added more than one thing.

I wish you, your daughter and your grandchild the best. She is lucky to have your support.
