Not only do they exist, there are also symphonies "A" and "B".

AFAIK they've only been recorded once, back in the 70s.  A French effort
for EMI(?) but - even though I have the LPs somewhere - I cannot recall
who did it.

None of the four, BTW, is in the same class as No.3 and A an B, IIRC,
are essentially juvenilia (hence the lack of numbers).

My problem wrt Saint-Saens, is the piano concertos - can't stand them...:-)
