Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is OK to take while breastfeeding.
It has a large molecular size, has a high volume of distribution, and is
highly protein bound, meaning that not a whole lot will get into breast
milk.
More importantly, breastfeeding a 8 month old makes it a no-brainer decision
to continue to breastfeed.
If anyone is concerned, just monitor the child for excessive drowsiness.
Caveat: may decrease milk supply--keep the fluid intake up.
