Karen Seroussi has described an incredible teaching technique! I just *love* the image of the quiet room, full of med students, reading bullet point after bullet point of the health risks involved with not BF. I think those of us who work in this field forget how little people outside of it understand about BF. I recall another speaker describing an attempt to convince her instution to go Baby Friendly. She had what she considered a "throw away slide" listing the various diseases and conditions that are seen more in FF babies than BF babies. Her audience, too, gasped. She was surprised that this information -- so basic to her -- had such impact.
