In all the homevisiting I have done over the years, not as a CLE, but as an RN, I have never carried commercial insurance, only professional.

breastfeeding classes at the hosptial education room that they lend me
and run a support group at WIC. I have been granted a wonderful grant
through our First 5 in CA for education and support but have hit a road
block. They require 2 things, one of which I have met. I have
professional liability insurance and added them to the policy however
they require commercial liability in the form of 1million/3million but i
cannnot find a sole to cover me because they say there is nothing to
cover since I do not work with clients in my house I have no liability
there and in a patrons home I have nothing there as well. On hospital
site, etc I am covered by their insurance according to the insurance
people I have contacted.

I will not get this grant if I cannot satisfy this requirement..any of us
that do home visits carry commercial/general liability??? Anyone of us
with our broad backgrounds know where I can get something, anything?
Thank you in advance, please email me and the list so I can get info
ASAP.
