What was the count pre-treatment?
It was a 3-day "count" post first OA dribble.  I don't count--I just
separate colonies by a triage system.  Low mites (about 15 or
less--potential breeder; medium mites (maybe 100--will need another shot);
and colonies with >100 (take to home yard to give special attention to.

Do you think that these might have raised their own queens, and aren't your 
VSH queens?
Could be; could also  be that the queens did not mate with enough resistant
drones.
