Quintet of the Americas to Perform at September 11 Memorial Ceremony at Ground Zero in New York New York, NY - The Quintet of the Americas will be in performance on Monday, September 11 as part of the Fifth Anniversary of 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at Ground Zero in New York. The Quintet is honored to be playing again this year for 9/11. The Ceremony will begin at 8:46 when the first tower was hit. WNYC AM 820 radio will have live, uninterrupted coverage of the fifth anniversary ceremony at the World Trade Center site. Spouses, partners and significant others will read the names of the victims, and moments of silence will be observed after each name. The Quintet will play as the names are read.
