If there was a 74% increase in "tubby infants from birth to six months," how can that be explained by <<Although the Harvard study didn't say why kids are fatter today, Bessler said it's because kids are leading a more sedentary lifestyle, watching TV and sitting in front of the computer. >>? Should we be looking at other factors including how the infant is fed? Obviously, lack of breastfeeding is causing a lot of obesity issues. But, other things such as the increased number of inductions, cesereans and medications should be looked at. A 74% increase in "tubby infants" cannot be activity related. "What if" induction drugs have something to do with a changed metabolism? "What if" pre-eclampsia has something to do with changed metabolism? Certainly, our bodies are designed for healthy living. Something is happening to change this. If hot dogs have been found to change DNA, what about other drugs which are considered "safe"?
