In very dry seasons sometimes red clover can become stunted and the flower is short enough for honeybees to reach the nectar. Dutch clover usually yields nectar before sweet clover at least here in Mn and would be the first major clover flow of the season. -- Visit www.honeybeeworld.com/bee-l for rules, FAQ and other info ---
