What's your hypothesis? Mine is that yes, fewer babies will die from SIDS 
while sucking on a breast than on a pacifier.


Ditto. Also, look at Japan for instance. Their SIDS rate is substantially 
lower than here in the US. They had a whole campaign about how babies should 
not be left alone while sleeping and to breastfeed as much as possible. They 
are pretty big on co-sleeping there from what I know. However, when they 
immigrate to the US after time their SIDS rate becomes the same as 
ours---because they pick up American "habbits" so to speak. ---Christina
