It seems here has been lots of productive sharing on resources, literature, & policies to do with infant feeding in emergencies. Besides the immediate issue of Katrina (which is hugely important) this sharing and networking seems to be looking to the future - how to educate and prepare various levels of emergency workers and health staff for supporting breastfeeding Mums and preventing separation of Mums and newborns, for future disasters. Also, what can be learnt from the present situaton. This is important, too. I'm going "nomail" now, as I'm having a busy time. Till next I'm on Lactnet, Best wishes Virginia in Brisbane, Queensland *********************************************** To temporarily stop your subscription: set lactnet nomail To start it again: set lactnet mail (or digest) To unsubscribe: unsubscribe lactnet All commands go to [log in to unmask] The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(R) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
