With all due respect, I have to say I am with Marsha on this. When people started telling me that in Asia mothers squat in rice paddies to give birth, and then keep right on working I started thinking "whoa!" Is that supposed to be a good thing? What's good about that? That sort of "information" (I for one don't believe it is true, or at least that it has been taken completely out of context) may not be helpful. I would not like to nurse my baby 5x/hr. Of course, the original poster was not implying that we should, she was trying to tell mothers that there are many ways to manage breastfeeding effectively. thinking out loud Kristen Panzer, MS IBCLC _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
