I guess we'll add that one to our pre-visit questions. We have probably all used them, whether it is shrinking them in liquid Nitrogen, putting skewers through them, or being amazed when they don't pop from a flame with just a little water inside. Recently, there has been a request for us to be able to do a latex free program. Thus many of these demos will not be able to be done. I am looking for alternatives to latex. Mylar may work for some things, but not everything. I have also heard that there may be some sort of plastic balloon that can be used. Has anyone run into this issue before? What solutions have you found? -- Matthew Strumpf [log in to unmask] Museum of Science, Boston *********************************************************************** More information about the Informal Science Education Network and the Association of Science-Technology Centers may be found at http://www.astc.org.
