Hi all - a personal request, a dear friend near Baltimore just had her second by c-section last week, and is wiped out. Baby is seeming to breastfeed well, but I would love to send her a session with a post-partum doula as a gift - she says what she really needs is a massage for her sore shoulders, so someone with some good hands-on healing skills would be great - but I'd also like it to be someone with strong lactation evaluation skills (not necessarily IBCLC, but someone who's not going to steer her wrong, IYKWIM), because she had just a terrible time with getting started bf her first (though she did end up bf for a year), and some positioning tips, a confirmation that everything's OK would probably mean a lot to her. And some good advice about how she can save time and effort, someone to set up a downstairs diaper station for her, that kind of thing... Please contact me off-list. Thanks so much!
