This is a personal question, but I need widespread expertise. I've been
diagnosed with a fungal skin infection on my right breast, immediately
adjacent to the areola. The appearance is more consistent with tinea
(ringworm/athlete's foot/jock itch) than candida.

The location is such that it may come in contact with my son's mouth while
nursing, but not necessarily. He has no signs/symptoms of oral fungal
infection.

Would you treat my son as well if it is tinea?

Thanks for your help.
