I have probably mentioned this before, but let us not forget the Don
Gillis Concerto for 4 Touchtone phones and orchestra.  It just crossed
my mind, but I wonder, should we be worried that in time we won't be
able to find any touchtone phones...just in case someone wants to perform
the piece again?  No doubt this will present a challenge for the
historically informed performance folks to preserve some of the original
instruments.
