Hello everyone. I am in need of your help. At our hospital it is routine to pump and dump for 24 to 28 hours after a ct scan using isovue. According to Hale, he suggests at the most only one pump and dump after the procedure to satisfy the reluctant physician. I would like to put together a "packet" to present to radiology and the ob physicians to reconsider this pump and dump policy. Does anyone already have an updated policy about this? If so,would you email me it? Do you have any other references other than MMM 2004 by Hale. I really appreciate this. I seem to recall reading somewhere recently that someone did this very presentation to their radiologists. I just can't seem to access this information from the archives. Thank you very much for your input!
