In response to the baby with intestines born outside body - probably
gastroschesis (we deal with alot of that in our Children's hospital) - I
would stress the potential risk for NEC and/or sepsis.  This baby may end
up with a short gut - all the more reason to provide breastmilk. If baby's
mom does not (or will not) provide her own breastmilk, in this situation -
I would recommend donor human milk.
