I am a hospital based LC working in all areas, PP, newborn, NICU and
whatever breast feeding issues arise. A NICU RD has asked this question and
I dont know the exact process she is asking for. Can anyone explain how the
dairy products (cow milk protiens) are transferred into breastmilk? Does
any one know the process? How it breaks down in the gut and what it breaks
down to?
Thanks Betty McDaniel RN, IBCLC
