Chamber Music of Beth Anderson to be Presented at United Nations by The Positive Music Group on October 22 The chamber music of American composer Beth Anderson will be presented at the Dag Hammarskjold Library Auditorium of the United Nations in New York on Friday, October 22 at 1 PM as part of a Concert for Peace, presented by the Positive Music Group and sponsored by the Society for Enlightenment and Transformation. Composer/pianist Richard Shulman, who is organizing the concert, says, "We are bringing some of our finest artists together for this concert at the United Nations as a statement of and for world peace." Ms. Anderson's Belgian Tango and Tales 1 and 2 will be performed by violinist Ana Milosavljevic and pianist Martina Cukrov. These three works have been recorded for release on an upcoming Albany Music CD of Ms. Anderson's chamber music. Other musicians slated to perform include vocalist/soundhealer Eliana Gilad and harpist Sunita Staneslow from the Israeli group Voices of Eden Ensemble, guitarist/composer Benyamin Sheppard, violist/vocalist/sound healer Michelle Herrera Foster, Celtic harpist Christine Tulis and percussionist/keyboardist/vocalist Kem Stone of the "Bluegate" ensemble and Positive Music Group founders, Don Robertson and Richard Shulman. This concert is free and open to the public, however all names of outside guests must be submitted to UN Security prior to the concert.
