Having a small portable refractometer, I have been measuring and getting
figures for the % of water being present in the honey that has been
brought into my hot room.

Temperature correction has been taken into account to ensure that the
reading translated into a valid final figure.
BUT, since the refractometer was purchased second hand from a previous
beekeeper, I have no evidence that the figures being gained are correct.
This being due to the fact that I do not know if the refractometer is
correctly set.
I need to know if my 18.2% humidity level in my Canola honey is really
18.2%.

Is it possible to create a standard medium of known moisture %, one that
may be created by the average beekeeper in domestic conditions?
