Hi, Pat and Others: I have a book on the history of wet nursing that was
published at least 10 years ago that is just fascinating. In it is a photo
of a woman in her 70's who in her prime was nursing 12 babies a day and at
the time the photo was taken she was still nursing 6 babies every day. She
apparently was wet nurse to her village.
If this is true, all I can say is WOW!
