Well, I just want to report back. At one hive per acre, you can expect about 20 pounds of honey per hive. The situation is a well managed, irrigated raspberry farm with a longish blooming season. As a point of interest, the strong hives gave a full shallow super, and the weaker hives didn't put anything away. But on average, with 15 hives at approximately 1 hive per hectar, there's something like 250-300 pounds of honey.
