The Americas Vocal Ensemble At Lincoln Center As Part Of 2nd New York International Choral Festival - Friday, June 25 at 8:00 PM The Americas Vocal Ensemble, Nelly Vuksic, Music Director, will participate in the 2nd New York International Choral Festival on Friday, June 25 at 8:00 PM at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, Broadway and 66th Street in Manhattan. This concert, presented by Eurydice Artists International and titled "Peace in Harmony" will present the AVE, along with the Canticum Novum Singers and several other groups from New York and South Korea. The Americas Vocal Ensemble's repertoire for this concert will feature music reflecting the richness of the cultural and musical Latin American heritage from the Colonial Period to the present. It brings to its audiences a most enjoyable and rarely performed repertory which encompasses the whole range of the music of the Americas, from the colonial period to contemporary times, through concerts, educational programs and recordings. The Americas Vocal Ensemble made its debut at New York's Americas Society in 1982, and has performed throughout the northeast U.S. and South America.
