Richard Pennycuick includes in the Naxos releases for July the following: >IVES: Violin Sonatas 1-4 That set has already been out in the US for several months. Indeed I gave it a rave review when it appeared; it's the best I ever heard and I've heard all but the Zukofsky/Kalish version (which is reputedly superb). Two completely unknown musicians are involved: Curt Thompson, violin, and Rodney Waters, piano. It just occurs to me that the announced release may be for hybrid SACD version. The earlier release is in plain-vanilla audio CD. My review is at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00008MLVJ/classicalnetA/ Scott Morrison
