Baby did grow 1/2" since 4 mo checkup. Docs not happy with the growth either. Mom said head circumference is increasing. Skin color good / pink. Eyes big & bright. Sociable. Responsive. Smiling. Meeting other developmental milestones. Fat padded marshmallow (texture, not color) skin all over. No bones visible at joints. He is into pitstop nursings. He has 6 teeth & I believe he is working on the next pair. He can hold himself upright on his feet while holding onto mom's fingers with very little hip wobble. Dear Friends: There is nothing wrong with this baby. His brain is growing, he is developmentally on target. What is there to fuss about? Because some number makes somebody unhappy? warmly, Nikki Lee RN, MS, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CCE, CIMI Maternal-Child Adjunct Faculty Union Institute and University Film Reviews Editor, Journal of Human Lactation Support the WHO Code and the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative *********************************************** To temporarily stop your subscription: set lactnet nomail To start it again: set lactnet mail (or digest) To unsubscribe: unsubscribe lactnet All commands go to [log in to unmask] The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(R) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
