Yes, their plateau is supposedly to be around 3 to 6 months actually. There have been a few recent studies, prior this one, looking at the weight gain of formula-fed babies -- calling it rapid growth -- and detecting and being concerned about elevated growth hormone levels --- two suggesting weak links to cancer in later life. I'm personally not so sure that the growth hormone isn't just coming directly out of the cow's milk.
