I guess anything is possible, but I have not read/heard of any connection w/
bf and painful ovulation. This kind of pain, to me, needs serious
evaluation. I would recommend to the mother to explore it further w/ her
doctor or another specialist. Perhaps there are cysts or tumor to cause such
pain.
