I'm sorry to hear of your incredibly bad day, but is it necessary to simply accept the edict? Have the consults and product rentals/sales been at the least self-supporting and at best profitable? Do maternity patients cite the Lactation Center services as helpful, etc. on patient surveys? Why not take this up to Admin? Squeaky wheels... Good luck.
