I read the article "What BF is really like" and while I was reading it I was
thinking "this lady has alot of red flags." (Long bf sessions, very frequent
feeds with unsatisfied baby, damaged nipples, and unable to pump more than
an ounce out, as I recall). As it turns out she had a poor latch with
resulting low milk intake and then low supply and when that was improved the
whole bf thing improved. I also was wondering about her LC friend mentioned
in the article and why she didn't pick up on the red flags - or maybe she
did but it was not mentioned that way in the article. I think the LLL
meeting was where they corrected her latch etc.
