Winnie, I believe in pre-emptive strikes. I don't remember what your practice setting is, but am aware that most hospital based-LCs do not necessarily send MD reports. I like to send an MD report that arrives before mother does. In that report I describe what I see, especially the extended candida clues (mother's symptoms, diaper rash, etc), and then add a short note of my experience in cases with these symptoms. Finally, I share the protocol that is most often effective, but always state in the care instructions that mother was to discuss this all with her pediatrician. What I've learned is that once my MDs make a decision, they are rarely open to changing it. If, however, I am able to plant seeds first before mom comes in, she is more likely to get my recommendations. ~Lisa Marasco *********************************************** To temporarily stop your subscription: set lactnet nomail To start it again: set lactnet mail (or digest) To unsubscribe: unsubscribe lactnet All commands go to [log in to unmask] The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(TM) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
