Decca has released a five-disc set of Stokowski recodings made in the
Phase 4 series.  It includes items already issued by them several years
ago and on CALA.  The question is, do you need then and the answer is
an unqualified NO.  The sound is horrible.  They have removed any resonance
and the bass is shallow.  There is no air around the music.  I could go
on.  I wish I had saved the money.
