I saw a program about a Mozart symphony (somewhere in the middle period)
supposed to be Mozart's but played as the "lost work." My question is
this: How can it be that musicologists cannot say yes or no?  If we seem
to have evidence it is Mozart (or some other composer will do) they will
dissect it line by line saying how it is obviously Mozart's but if no
evidence otherwise, it seems like endless speculation.  This can apply
to most major composers I would think.  Just wondering.
