Thanks to everyone who has responded.  I have quite a bit of reading ahead of
me.  With the story Phyllis wrote about dripping colostrum into the newborns
mouth, is partly where I am coming from.  I will be curious to see if any of
these articles address how much colostrum a newborn needs to consume to
stabilize their blood sugars.  I am assuming that just drops would suffice.
I hope I can get some clinicians to also understand the literature.
