Pat et al..., Thank you for your reply. I actually came across that site when doing my review and it was very interesting and the most helpful I have found. The research does state that Enterobacteriaceae can be normal flora in some surfaces of the body (such as the gut as the that article states), but skin is not listed as one of them. Also, the count was higher than what I have found as the general recommendation for normal flora in milk (100,000 per ml), so I'm still not sure how to proceed. Any other thoughts?
