Barb I like your suggestions for the interview alot. On the same line, one could ask about professional journals she subscribes to or reads or online journals or journal scans. I have found a big problem is that nurses do not keep up to date, and on their down time on the unit, if any, they read catalogs or 'women's magazines.' I am notorious for leaving journals and articles posted frequently - things to do with women's health, infants, children, or family. For example, many don't know about kangaroo care, perineal massage, doulas, etc. Laurie Wheeler, IBCLC, MN, RN New Orleans Louisiana, s.e.
