Thank you for all the ideas.  There is certainly a possibility of someone
misinterpreting what they heard or read somewhere.The woman who mentioned
the term said that in Russia since 1996 41% of children are born with
genetic anomalies.  Somebody by the name Professor Yu. Rubin, supposedly
member of European Society of Mammology, talked about this rare phenomenon
in connection with congenital genetic abnormalities.  The actual term
mentioned was "thanatophoric mamma".  There was also an interesting word
combination "Curare-like milk" (poison from South African plant Strychnos
toxifera).  This is the kind of milk produced by thanatophoric breast.  I
have decided that the best way to find out is to try contacting the author
of the statement for clarification.
