I have had an email from a member of the public about bees in a nesting box. Apparently some are falling on to the ground and there is a 'yellow liquid' on the front of the box. I now have a photograph which I have posted on the website: www.stratford-upon-avon.freeserve.co.uk/Images/SickBumblebees.jpg Looks like dysentry to me and I wonder if it is poisoning by red horsechestnut (apparently there are some nearby). I have never seen this before and would be interested to hear any comments.
