Tanja wow. what a terrible situation re SARS in your country. i have not been keeping up to date w/ it so much, as I believe there have been no cases in my state, Louisiana USA. In fact, today i heard a blip on the radio that maybe it should be called MARS because most cases are *mild* acute resp syndrome. In your situation, perhaps you could get ahold of some facts on the types of people who are succumbing to this disease - my understanding being the elderly and otherwise immune suppressed types. Perhaps you could contact a public health official or even World Health official and surely they would be recommending continued bf, as you say, with good hygiene and common sense health practices. Then you could inform the moms who call that you have it on the authority of WHO (for example) that continued bf is the most important thing to decrease the risk to the baby.
