Dear Friends: I have learned so much from Pamela's post today. I confess I did have some myth that bf would be easy in a place where bf is the norm and there wouldn't be the problems that I see in a bf culture. The difference is in the intention. Mothers in the USA can always use formula, relatively safely and cheaply compared with Mothers in Zimbabwe. Mothers in the USA have a choice, which can be very difficult to sustain if they are having painful breastfeeding; mothers in Zimbabwe have no other option. Thank you Pamela.
