My favorites are the
Concerto No.1 for Orchestra
Partita for Orch
Coro di Morti for Chorus and Orch.

I don't care as much for his later works. The early pieces are not all
that stylistically removed from the music of Casella. The later works,
especially those that were less tonal, could be quite intense. The Fifth
Concerto (which I have in two recordings...one with Munch and the BSO)
is a good example of his later style.
