For doing our work on Russian American sites in Alaska, we are often faced with the impossible Russian system where a sazhen length depends on if your measuring on land or sea. A must-have web site is:

There are volume, distance, capacity, area, speed, &c. All you have to do is put in your metric measurement and hit convert, then look page down to the form you want, or vice versa. It's GREAT!!! Sometimes, I like to just play with weird measurements.
