My supervisor mentioned to me that she was called by a reporter from our local paper with questions about a news release about the addition of DHA and ARA in infant formulas. He also was asking her about a breastfeeding mother's diet and if it was true that it is now being suggested or recommended that they take supplements to assure adequate levels. Are there now "recommendations" that I am not aware of? I have searched the archives and have not come up with very much - at least not many posts since DHA was approved in the U.S. Thank you.
