Good piece.  It was not originally "Romance," though, but the 2nd mvt
of Dvorak's 5th String Quartet.

Speaking of Beethoven's 3rd Concerto and his underappreciated works,
I would nominate his 13th Piano Sonata.  One theme in its 3rd mvt is
basically a replica of the concerto's 2nd mvt.
