Hello all. Long time no talk! My name is Denny Rice. I have been IBCLC
for about 8 or 9 years now. I work predominately with mothers expecting
multiples. No longer however, I have accepted a LC position with a small
local hospital. So far, I am loving it :)

My question to you today is this: Is there any place where most of the
information regarding lawsuits involving breastfeeding are located? I need
to learn about lawsuits against hospitals and physicians involving
providing erroneous/out of date/false information to moms, who then
develope problems or premature weaning due to the bad info. I'm aware that
there are some cases mentioned in the archives, but I'm hoping to find a
consolidated area as I need to present info on this topic to our hospital
risk manager. (yes, to give me more muscle when I go in to change things
like gift packs, bottles to bf babies, etc.)

Thank you for your help, and I'm looking forward to "talking" with you all
again after such a long dry spell (no lactnet, gasp!)

Denny Rice, RN, IBCLC
