One of the positive things about living in Boston is WHRB.  (The negative
list is very long).  Last night I heard, on that station's new recordings
program, a performance of what must be a fairly recent viola concerto
by Sofia Gubadalina, with Bashmet as soloist.  Based on one hearing,
it strikes me as spectacularly good.
